The 270 returned into
service. Here it is working on line 1E (Summer 2003)

In
1926 two trams on bogies were built by the workshops of the CCFP.
In many aspects they were equal to the bogie-car
of 1904
delivered by Brill. Most significant differences were the maximum-traction
bogies and the extended platforms with doors (plataformas salão).
Both cars (numbered 200-201) survived the Boavista fire.
In
1928 six more cars of this type were constructed slightly longer,
wider and heavier. With the CCFP they were numbered 268-273.The
STCP renumbered the 268-269 into 274-275 and the 200-201 into 276-277.
The series worked mainly on the same lines as the Belgas and
Bogie-fumistas.
Most
cars of this series disappeared from the streets with the cut
back of line 1 and closure of line 19 in 1993 and the closure of
line 1 in 1994. Only the 277 was sometimes working extras on line
18 between Boavista and Foz during the summer of 1995.
None of the cars was
ever scrapped. 270 returned into service, 275 & 277 are used for excursions,
274 is part of the Massarelos museum collection, 273 did emigrate to the Crich
(UK) museum and 271, 272 & 276 are in store.
