First electric cars

The first generation of electric trams in Porto was characterized by a wide range of origins of tramcars. Mulecars/steamtram-trailers of several types were electrified (Transformados), two different German companies delivered each one car, the own workshops and the local firm A Constructora constructed new bodies. Trams were imported from England and the USA. The complete history is not yet unveiled, also because probably some renumbering was done during the first decade.
