The German cars

Works photo of the car which was probably delivered by Siemens & Halske in 1898

CCFP 24 made by A Constructora in 1901 with electric equipments from Siemens & Halske.

A German type car on a Brill 21E truck.

Two new tramcars were imported from Germany in 1898.

One car, with the original fleetnumber 13, was delivered by Schuckert & co. Probably this car had 18 seats. It might have been renumbered to 27.

Another car with fleetnumber 14 came from Siemens & Halske. Seating was probably for 16. It might have been renumbered to 26.

Probably 10 more tramcars of the Schuckert type were constructed by Campos & Moraes (A Constructora) until 1903:

  • 20-23 in 1901 with Schuckert equipments
  • 24-25 in 1901 with Siemens equipments
  • 33-34 in 1902
  • 38-39 in 1903

Also these cars probably got already very soon new, but unknown, numbers. None of these cars  reached the STCP period.

Tramcar 27, maybe the car delivered by Schuckert & Co. in 1898.
