Lorries or Joaninhas

For tranport purposes small lorries are used. They are nicknamed Joaninhas.

Zorra 58 on the job with a Joaninha on the Avenida de Montevideu (Autumn 1993).

Zorra 77 leaving Massarelos depot with two Joaninhas carrying a piece of rail (Summer 1995). Red flags and a man on the last lorry beating with a hammar on a bell have to warn the other traffic for the unusual transport. Special attention of the driver is required when the lorries with the piece of rail are pushed!
