The Trams of Porto

Although relative unacquainted, the history of the Porto tram system is very interesting. The objectives of this site are to make better known the Porto tram and its history, and to invite everyone to contribute for this.

On the site you can find the following sections:

A chronological overview of the most important events in the history.
Descriptions of the different types of rolling stock.
Description of the system with sections about the network, the lines, the depots, power/stations and the bridges and tunnels.
Various items like the museum and the funicular.
A collection of photos I made since 1992.
